• Some supplement brands’ figures on their nutrition labels are simply estimates without any lab test. Therefore the data may not be highly accurate.
• There is around 50% protein in deer velvet (as a % of the deer velvet in a product E.g. for our 75% deer velvet + 25% astaxanthin product this would work out as 75% x 50% = 37.5% @ a 50% protein level... we get well above 37.5% and achieve 45.9%.. we let you do the maths!!!! ). NB: If a deer velvet supplement’s protein content is too low, that will indicate that the amount of deer velvet in the product is low and/or that the velvet is calcified (low grade, not bio-active).
