NEW ZEALAND’S NATIONAL CHAMPION RED DEER FARM
Altrive® Red Deer Farm is the accumulative #1 award winning red deer velvet farm in the NZ Annual National Velvet & Trophy Antler Competition organised by National New Zealand Deer Farmers Association since 2012.
New Zealand has the world's largest and most advanced deer farming industry. The NZ Annual National Velvet & Trophy Antler Competition is the most prestigious event to velvet farmers, attracting entries from the best farms around the country. With approximately 2000 deer farms in New Zealand competition every year is very fierce.
Altrive® Deer Farm started entering the competition in 2005. Altrive’s performance has been fantastic, strongly endorsing the superiority of Altrive’s deer and velvet. Altrive® Deer Farm is highly motivated to continue to break new grounds by NZDFA’s recognition of its efforts and achievements.

ALTRIVE® WINS AWARDS @ 2017 VELVET NATIONALS
At the 2017 NZ Annual 'National Velvet & Trophy Antler Competition' held on 12-12-2017, Altrive® Red Deer achieved wonderful results once again.
Altrive® deer named 'Altrive 22-14' won two awards. One Award in the 'Three Year Red' Section and another award in the 'People’s Choice' section.
The 'Three Year Red' section is particularly important as it is seen as a prime indicator of the farm which is most likely to have the highest quality velvetting deer in New Zealand in the upcoming years. Altrive® is especially proud of the 'People's Choice' award as it is the only award section judged by votes from contestants and it is therefore an endorsement by other credible members of the New Zealand deer industry that Altrive® indeed has the best & most perfect velvet at the 2017 national competition.
Additionally Altrive® deer named 'Altrive® 188-12' won 3rd place in the 'Five Year Red' section.
